August: Art in the Park
Create, Connect & Enjoy the Outdoors
Bring a craft, art project, sketchbook, or something you're currently working on and spend a relaxing afternoon creating alongside fellow creatives. Art in the Park is a casual opportunity to meet other local artists, enjoy some fresh air, and learn more about the Hendricks County Arts Collective.

A plastic picnic table cover will be provided to help protect the picnic table and keep the space clean while we create.
Being respectful park guests
Art in the Park will be held in a shared public space, and we ask that everyone help us take care of the park and its facilities. Please be respectful of the picnic tables and surrounding areas by keeping your workspace tidy, cleaning up all materials and trash before you leave, and leaving the park just as you found it.
Please avoid using materials that could permanently stain or damage park property, and be mindful of spills, paint, glue, glitter, and other messy supplies. The provided picnic table cover should be used whenever working at the table.
Artist Headshots
Present yourself with confidence through our Artist Headshot Session! Whether you're updating your website, applying for exhibitions or grants, promoting upcoming events, or refreshing your social media profiles, a professional headshot is an essential tool for every artist. The Hendricks County Arts Collective is excited to partner with local photographer Mary Frost to offer professional headshots for creatives. Each 10-minute session includes a professionally edited digital headshot, which will be delivered directly to your email 2 weeks after the event. This is a great opportunity to invest in your artistic presence and connect with fellow members of our creative community.

Mary is the owner of Frosted Designs Photography and a member of the Hendricks County Arts Collective. With a background in art and design, she brings a thoughtful eye for detail and a warm, welcoming approach to every session. Passionate about capturing authentic personalities, Mary creates professional portraits that help people confidently represent themselves.

Artist Headshot Sessions are open to both Hendricks County Arts Collective members and the general public. Members receive discounted pricing.

Each reservation includes one 10-minute photography session and a professionally edited digital headshot, delivered to your email 2 weeks after the event.

Your edited headshot will be emailed to you 2 weeks after the event.

You're welcome to bring small props, sketchbooks, paintbrushes, cameras, instruments, or artwork to personalize your portraits. Please keep in mind that sessions are only 10 minutes, so props should be quick and easy to incorporate.
